Founded in 1962 by Bill Greenway Sr., Southern California Overhead Door Co. (SCODCO) has remained family owned and locally operated. SCODCO originally started as a residential and commercial door business. Over the years the company continued to grow and diversify to meet the demands of the changing market.
In 1993 SCODCO purchased a Roll-a-way Co. franchise and opened a new shutter department which is currently under the leadership of Jim Greenway. Jim has served in the capacity of President and Chief Operating Officer since 1979 with a total of 30 years of continuous employment within the company. Jim’s engineering background and technical expertise have kept SCODCO a leader in the door industry as well as the shutter industry.
In 2003, SCODCO was realligned giving the shutter division it's own identity, Southern California Rolling Shutter Co. (SCRSCO). The division was created to keep pace with the homeowner's need for proffesional installation and quick relliable service.
SCRSCO has a long and impressive list of current and previous satisfied customers both for installation and repairs as well as new construction products. SCRSCO respects the privacy of all of it's customers and keeps all records of private customers confidential.
